At their convention, the Democrats invoked the spirit (and oration) of ex-President Bill Clinton, while the GOP conjures up visions of Reaganomics. Dire predictions of fiscal cliffs, defaults, hyper-inflation, depression, civil unrest and other calamities fuel the debate. It seem that everyone has an opinion.
